Cool Chain

More than 30 years of experience in the reception, handling and shipping of perishable goods, has allowed us to become specialize in the careful handling of this type of products.

To ensure that the perishable cargo arrives at its destination in ideal conditions, Tampa Cargo has developed a solid infrastructure for the management of the cool chain:

  • Real time cool chain monitoring:
•Temperature measurement in each stage of the process.
•24 hour controlled coolers that guarantee temperature in our stations of Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Miami, Quito, Lima and Santiago.
    •Airplanes with controlled temperature.
  • Vacuum cooling service in our Bogotá station, which manages the temperature of 400 flower boxes simultaneously stabilizing it at 35.6 °F (2° C) in only 30 minutes, without causing any damage to the cargo.
  • We have initiated a process of become the first airline to be cool chain certified by the Cool Chain Association
